Inspired today by Nicole Dreiske, who grew up on the North Shore, founded FACETS when she was only 22 and grew it to be an international film festival force.
As if that wasn’t accomplishment enough, she decided to make media consumption for children better too. With the help of Newt “TV is a vast wasteland” Minnow, Dreiske founded the International Children’s Media Center. It’s support comes from the MacArthuchilr Foundation and others too.
