A Teacher Affects Eternity

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
— Henry Brooks Adams

Thank you Northbrook Court for affecting eternity too, by honoring and paying it forward to a great teacher:

Pictured left to right are Stacy Kolios, marketing manager for Northbrook Court; Glenbrook North High School Principal Paul Pryma, Instructional Supervisor Robin Sheperd, Celebrate Teachers winner Emily Horvath and Glenbrook High School District 225 Superintendent Mike Riggle.

In recognition of National Teacher’s Day on May 7, Northbrook Court awarded Emily Horvath a $500 Northbrook Court Shop, Etc. gift card. Horvath received the most votes on the mall’s Facebook page from April 16 – 28. She teaches social studies at Glenbrook North High School and was nominated by one of her students, Samantha Bernsen, a senior.

“I am thrilled to present Mrs. Horvath with this award,” said Stacy Kolios, marketing manager at Northbrook Court. “On behalf of everyone at Northbrook Court, I want to extend a huge thank you to her and all the other nominees for all the hard work they put into making our schools and communities as great as they are.”
